Shade Sails for Schools and Nurseries

In May 2024, we supplied and installed two Able Shade Sails at Moulsham Junior School in Chelmsford, Essex.

In April 2024, we supplied and installed two 5m x 5m Able Shade Sails at Engayne Primary School in Upminister, Essex.

In June 2023, we supplied and installed two 5m x 5m Able Shade Sails at Springwell School in Hounslow, London.

We installed six Shade Sails in Newton Prep School in London in September 2022.

Our Lady of Pity Catholic Primary School contacted us as they wanted to create a shaded are in their playground to protect their pupils from harmful UV rays.

Knotty Ash Children’s Centre were looking to create a colourful shaded area in their play area to protect their young pupils from UV rays.

We installed a 7m x 7m Shade Sail with blue fabric to shade the whole of the seating area and protect the pupils from the sun. The school also had four different coloured post pads to add further style and protect the children from bumping into the posts.

Hayes Park School contacted us as they were looking to create a shaded corner to their play area so pupils could take turns in the shaded area meaning they wouldn’t get to hot during play.

Engayne Primary School are an existing customer of Able Canopies and having a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy installed a couple of years ago, they opted for a shade sail array this time round to provide shade above their amphitheatre.

Our Lady of Pity Catholic Primary School required a shade structure to protect their pupils from the sun in their school playground in Wirral, Merseyside.

Morgan Sindall were tendering for an £18.8 million refurbishment of Lexden Springs School in Colchester, Essex which cares for children with special educational needs.

St Stephen’s CE Primary School required a sheltered area in their school grounds. The school used a contractor who contacted Able Canopies on their behalf. The school had expressed that they would like a shade sail and they would like it to look like flying birds.

Suffolk County Council contacted Able Canopies on behalf of Ravenswood Primary School and requested a full site survey.

Castle Wood School required a number of outside shaded areas for the pupils at their school. A local architecture consultant created a suitable design and colour scheme which met the client’s requirements.
