Which Cycle Parking is Right for You?

Create the Perfect Cycle Parking Solution When it comes to purchasing a cycle parking facility for your school or organisation, there are a couple factors that you need to consider to ensure the product you purchase is the most practical solution. Your new cycle storage area will need to fulfil the requirements of the potential users and also fit in with your outside area too.

So how do you find the product that will accomplish all of that and more? Well, I have created a handy chart below that shows what each type of cyclist generally requires from a cycle parking area to give you more of an idea of where to start.

So now you know what your type of cyclist requires from a cycle parking area, you now need to work out what type of solution will be perfect for your premises.

I have listed below the most common bike parking solutions on the market today along with the benefits they offer, match them up with the requirements of your cyclists and you should (hopefully!) have your cycle parking needs answered!

Cycle Racks
Cycle Racks are ideal for areas with limited space, bikes can easily be secured to them and they are available in a range of sizes to suit children and adults. Cycle racks on their own do not offer any coverage from the weather or any additional security.

If you purchase bikes racks only, then the bikes would be fully visible to all passersby and this option is therefore not ideal for areas of possible crime.

Cycle Shelters
