Last Friday (23^rd October 2015) Able Canopies Ltd. took part in Breast Cancer Now’s Wear it Pink day. You may have noticed by now that we here at Able Canopies, are always eager to take part in national charity events in order to raise vital funds for charities that are sadly close to too many people’s hearts.

If your work place or school didn’t take part this year, then it would be worth considering taking part next year as we had a great day full of lots of giggles and cake, (who doesn’t love cake!) and of course there was some great pinks additions to our outfits! We raised £40.10 which is really impressive as there was only a few of us in the office that day. The Wear it Pink website has not yet released the total amount raised but they have said that hundreds of thousands of you took part at school work at home so well done everyone!

Breast Cancer now is, as the title explains, a charity that focuses solely on the research breast cancer. Sadly, one in eight women in the UK will face breast cancer in their lifetime. And every 45 minutes, another woman dies from the disease. By taking part in this events and many more like it, we are all making a different no matter how big or small.

I’d like to take this chance to thank everyone that donated to this remarkable charity, both those at Able Canopies Ltd. and those all over the UK.
