Today Marks our 20th Anniversary

On this day 20 years ago, Able Canopies officially became an incorporated company and therefore, became Able Canopies Ltd.

Whilst we plan to celebrate this milestone all year with lots of blog posts sharing memories and highlights, plus some special offers, we spent today celebrating the main event.

Now, we can’t spend the whole day partying because you guys need us to do what we do best, and that’s designing, manufacturing, and installing your canopies. However, we had a fantastic lunchtime party in our meeting room with lots of cake and yummy food, along with tunes from 2005, that was a throwback, I tell ya!

It has been a very happy yet, emotional day, as it’s quite an honour to celebrate such a milestone when many of that staff have been here for so long themselves: 85% of staff have been with the company for over 10 years, and 38% of staff have been with us for over 15 years.

Many of the staff here have therefore watched Able Canopies grow into the professional and trusted company it is today. From our humble beginnings renting an office in an enterprise centre, to a large office and warehouse space with multiple expansions, Able Canopies has come a long way.

And whilst our staff are pretty amazing, we also wouldn’t be where we are today without our customers and the contractors, councils, and architects we get to work with every day. We have built some fantastic working relationships with professionals in the education and construction industry over the last 20 years, and it has been a pleasure to work with each and every one of you. And when you return to us time and time again, we know we’ve done something right.

So, cheers to 20 years of Able Canopies, 20 years of covering outdoor spaces, creating fantastic working relationships, and meeting some of the best people in the industry. Here’s to 20 more!
