Spring Fundraising Ideas for Schools

spring-awakening-1197602_640 Although it’s still a little frosty out there to say the least, Spring will soon be on its way which means one thing for PTA groups – more fundraising!
Here’s a few ideas to get you started, we will be running this as a 4 blog post series so keep an eye out for the next instalment of ideas within the coming weeks.

Talent Show
Hold a talent show where your teachers or parents get involved. You could hold a theme, copy the style of Brittan’s got Talent or the X Factor with children as judges to add a little humour into the event.

Art Exhibition
Inspire pupils to create artwork that can go on show in a mini school art exhibition. You can sell the artwork to families and also charge a small fee to enter maybe offer a free hot or cold soft drink as part of the admission fee.

Bedtime Stories
Arrange an evening where children can come back to school in their panamas and one of the teachers reads bedtime stories so they can have a sleepover style evening with lots of pillows and duvets brought in by the children and the school can supply hot chocolate and a biscuit. Charge an admission fee and throw in the hot chocolate and biscuits for free.
