Taking a Closer Look at Shade Sails

If you are looking for a permanent contemporary shade structure for your premises whether it is a nursery, school, restaurant or leisure centre, Shade Sails are sure to cover all your needs!

Shade Sails also known as sail shades and sun shades, are extremely diverse and can create such unique and bespoke designs that really stand out and create statement features for your outdoor area.

Such personalised designs can be created due to three main features:

The fabric sails can be create in different shapes
Endless designs can be created when multiple shades are installed together
Shade Sail fabric is available in a wide range of colours

Shapes:
The fabric sails can be supplied in three different shapes: square, rectangle & triangle. These can be supplied in many sizes to enable you to cover your desired area.

Our Shade Sail Canopies are available in 15 different colours including both, vibrant and mellow colours to suit your environment. Please see the colour chart below:

Design Options:
Endless designs can be created with multiple shades installed together along with coordinating colours. Below are some examples of shade sail arrays that we have installed in the past.

Fabric:

The fabric that we use for our Shade Sails is the strongest 370gsm material available on the market. It is the highest grade, UV stable commercial shade cloth. The cloth is sewn using a heavy duty locking stitch and the corners are reinforced for strength and durability.

Applications:
Sail canopies can be used for many applications depending on what you have in mind below are some example that our customers have used their Shade Sail arrays for.

Carnfunnock Country Park in County Antrim, Northern Ireland use their Shade Sail array to create shade and shelter in their Amphitheatre park when they hold events such as concerts.

Bourne Abbey Primary School‘s Shade Sail was installed by a natural woodland area and they use it as a storytelling area at their school in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

The Wilows Primary School in Basildon, Essex use their large Shade Sail to keep their pupils shaded when playing on the school field during break times.

Grays Beach Riverside Park in Thurrock, Essex had a vibrant Shade Sail array installed to create a shaded outdoor picnic & dining area.
