Playground Accessories to Brighten up Play Times!

Here at Able Canopies we have an exciting range of playground accessories. The range comprises of many Play Panels along with a fantastic range of fun and colourful Picnic Tables and Benches. We are also offering School Bollards, Planters and Litter & Recycling Bins. Many of these products are made from HDPE or re-cycled plastic making them very eco friendly to produce and dispose of.

Play Panels

Our range of play panels are made from durable HDPE (High-density polyethylene). The versatile properties of the material including being UV stabilised, makes it resistant to fading, moisture, weather, stain and graffiti resistant. The perfect choice for outdoor environments.

HDPE has many features including that it will not fade, rot, delaminate, splinter or crack and it is stain and graffiti resistant for easy cleaning. HDPE is high impact resistant so it is ideal for the playground and they are recyclable and no toxic.

Picnic Tables and Benches

We also have a fantastic range of picnic tables and benches. Our Bleabury and Robinson picnic tables and the Lakeside and Burneside bench ranges are made from recycled materials.

Most of the recycled materials used to produce the products are manufactured from post consumer waste (PCR); including HDPE milk and detergent bottles that could have otherwise gone into landfill sites. This PCR material is subject to various processing cycles which include a thorough cleaning and grinding before being remanufactured into the high quality materials used to make these products. Our bench and picnic table ranges as mentioned above are made from 569 – 1440 plastic milk bottles.

Our bench and picnic range requires no painting and are virtually maintenance free. They are made from high quality recycled plastic support frames and stainless steel fittings. The benches and picnic tables are UV stabilised for fade resistant outdoor use, they have a high impact resistant and are fully recyclable and non toxic. The picnic tables are umbrella ready.

Mushroom and Flower Picnic Table and Bench Range

Our new mushroom and flower seating and picnic table ranges are a fantastic way to brighten up outdoor play areas and outdoor picnic areas. They are all set into the ground for maximum safety and to avoid theft/vandalism.

The Mushroom Seating range is usable immediately after the concrete has set, it releases no carbon black release, all tops are bolted down for greater security and are easily replaceable and the stem is easily washable. All steel is fully galvanised and powder coated. The seats are available in overall heights of 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, or 600mm.

The Flower Seating range is available in a range of colour options – red, green, blue, yellow and orange. Each flower measures 500mm in diameter and the stems measure 60mm diameter. The stems are steel zinc rich primed polyester powder coated green RAL colour 6018.

Bollards

Our traffic bollards are constructed from steel reinforced rubber and come complete with reflective strips. They are maintenance-free and extremely durable: they will not crack or snap off if accidentally knocked and they have steel reinforced inserts that are galvanised for ultimate corrosion protection.

The bollards are fully pressure moulded from 90% recycled rubber and available in two different styles: pyramid or slanted top. They also come with a choice of reflective traffic signs of your choice.

The Bollards are 1 metre high (approx. 300 into the ground and 700mm above the ground) and have a width of 150mm square. The bollards are supplied in black as standard.

Planters

We have 3 planter styles including free standing and wall mounted. Our Caudale Colourful Welded Planter Boxes are made from durable HDPE plastic and are welded to reduce the number of fasteners required which gives an excellent finish. They are available in a choice of four colours and are fitted with a base plate so there is no need to purchase a liner for the bottom of the planter.

Our Fairfield Planter Boxes are made from recycled plastic and are available in three different sizes and three different colours. They have a timber effect yet unlike timber they will not splinter or rot.

Litter Bins

There are 6 different types of litter bins within our range including colourful and fun bins to cost effective standard bins & recycling bins. Our Litter Bins (apart from the Hippo Bin) are all made from durable recycled plastic which will not rot or absorb water.The Hippo Novelty Bin, Round Litter Bin & Square Litter Bin are all available in a choice of colours. The Smiley Novelty Bins are available in different colours to match recycling materials and are WRAP colour compliant.
