Rachel’s Favourite Projects of All Time
As you may be aware (we haven’t mentioned it much 
), it’s our 20th anniversary this year, and to celebrate, we are asking each staff member what their favourite project is of all time.
Rachel is our Projects Department Manager and has been with the company for 18 years and is a lover of the colour pink, as you will notice from her choices below. So, as you can imagine, she has worked on a lot of projects over the years. This made her choice extremely hard, yet she managed to whittle it down to just two, which are:
Mile Cross Primary School, Norfolk
In 2024, we supplied and installed a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Mile Cross School in Norwich, Norfolk. We enclosed the canopy with safety barriers to create a designated area for pupils to remain within whilst playing or learning outside.
Here’s what Rachel had to say about her first favourite installation: “I love the colour (obviously) – It goes well in their chosen area, but I also love how the mix of clear and opal side/front fills tie in with the canopy colour. The bespoke gate adds a little something extra to the other Coniston’s we’ve installed, and I feel the team has done a brilliant job installing this.”
The staff at the school were also particularly pleased with the result. The School Manager commented: “We are all very happy with our new canopy, and the workmanship and staff who were on site couldn’t have been better!”

Ty Mawr Holiday Park, Clwyd
In 2020, we supplied and installed a triple Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopy at Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Clwyd for NBDA Architects. This is particularly a standout structure due to its large size which provides over 138 square metres of cover to the holiday park’s patrons whilst dining outside. Here’s what Rachel had to say: “There isn’t a Tarnhow installation that I don’t like – but this is my favourite. The triple dome design looks incredible and really shows how versatile the Tarnhow system can be.”
