Outside Comfort Zone Summer 2019

Welcome to the Summer Edition of Outside Comfort Zone. In this edition, we have shared some ‘first look’ progress photos of a big project we are working on at Lexden Springs SEND School in Essex for Morgan Sindall. These photos haven’t been shared on any other platform so be sure to take a look.

As you may or may not be aware, we have managed to secure exclusivity from Ali Deck who have designed and manufactured an exciting aluminium decking system specifically for use on balconies and terraces, compliant to the changes in fire regulations that were put in place back in December 2018 (see page 2).

Don’t miss the challenging installations we’ve been faced with recently and of course, our shiny new perfect delivery certificate which we are particularly proud of.

For Those Hard to Reach Areas

The popularity of timber canopies is still in full force and we’ve just completed this fantastic Free-Standing Mono-Pitch Timber Canopy at Corsham Primary School for Rigg Construction as phase 2 of an existing project. It is a great example of our timber canopies because it shows the flexibility we have when it comes to the design and making it fit the intended space.

Aluminium Decking for Architects, Specifiers & Contractors

We are extremely proud to have completed the launch of our new product range: Ali-Deck aluminium decking. Ali-Deck is the world’s first quick fit, slip resistant aluminium decking system and is expected to take the market by storm given last years’ change in fire regulations for high-rise buildings.

Filling in the gaps

Lakes Meadow, a care home in Coggeshall, Essex had an area that was an awkward shape within their grounds which they wanted to utilise by storing mobility scooters and keeping them sheltered from the rain. The area in question was in between two buildings and was 7.19m in length, 1.98m at the smallest opening and 6m at the largest opening.
