My Favourite Installation So Far… In Greater Manchester
When I choose my favourite installation for each area, I do not always choose one because it is unique or large. A lot of the time I find that my favourite installation is my favourite because of the difference that the structure makes to those that use it. I love it when I get told that my canopies & shelters enhance the opportunities of the users, particularly when the users are young children.
Ravensbury Primary School, Manchester
That is my main reason for choosing Ravensbury Primary School as my favourite installation for the county of Greater Manchester. We installed a 32m x 5m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy with Secure Roller Shutters in their playground to provide cover for a number of classrooms.
Not only does this canopy enable children from various classes to enjoy outdoor learning and outdoor play in any weather, it is also a secure place for the schools to store their valuable outdoor equipment and furniture. This also means that they do not have to transfer the items indoors at the end of the school day, they just simply close and lock the roller shutters.
I think this canopy has greatly improved Ravensbury Primary Schools’ pupils’ outdoor play and learning opportunities and allows them to enjoy the outside with fantastic outdoor equipment all year round!
