Timeline: Landmark Canopy Projects

In the space of 20 years, we have installed many commercial canopies which we are extremely proud of. In fact, we’re proud of every single canopy we have installed however, there’s always going be stand-out projects that become landmark projects, which we simply can’t help but celebrate, even years later.

From canopies for schools, to hospital canopies, canopies for holiday parks and bus shelters, you name it, we have installed it. Read on to discover our landmark projects.

2009

The Downs CE Primary School, Kent

Our first Coniston that completely wrapped around a building and the longest Coniston we had installed up to that year.

2011

Oaklands Secondary School, London

A stunning selection of canopies from our Kensington range and the first Kensington canopies we installed for a contractor (Bouygues UK).

2012

Thomas Ferens Academy, East Yorkshire

A selection of three bespoke cycle compounds and two Kensington Mono-Pitch freestanding canopies.

2014

Royal School of Military Engineering, Surrey

A total of six cycle shelters and cycle compounds set within the grounds of the Royal School of Military Engineering in Surrey.

2016

Mead Primary School, Essex

A staggering 112m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy that, even to this day, is the longest canopy we have ever installed.

2017

Bournemouth University, Dorset

Two bespoke Kensington Solar Canopies to provide shade and shelter that generates electricity at Bournemouth University’s transport hub.

2019

Hailsham Primary School, East Sussex

Two Coniston Wall Mounted Canopies and one large, bespoke Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy designed by Miller Bourne Architects for Morgan Sindall.

2020

Ty Mawr Holiday Park, Clwyd

Our first triple Tarnhow canopy structure which consisted of three 9m x 5m Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopies constructed as long large canopy, plus a small, bespoke stage canopy.

2020

Hillingdon Hospital, London

Seven Coniston freestanding and wall mounted canopies connected to create one extra-large walkway canopy, protecting those entering the building on foot, ambulances arriving at the A&E department.

2021

Northam Farm Holiday Park, Somerset

An extra large 30m x 12m Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopy that covers 360 square meters of outside dining.

Gravesend Bus Hub, Kent

A stunning selection of two Kensington Freestanding Canopies and one bespoke Grasmere Timber Clad Waiting Shelter for Kent County Council.

2022

Barking Abbey School, London

A 20.16m x 11.66m Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopy and a bespoke 1.66m x 13.16m connected to an 8.5m x 7.1m Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopy to create copious amounts of outdoor dining cover across the school’s two sites.

Engayne Primary School, Essex

A large Shade ail array that consists of blue, yellow, green and red sails to create a vibrant, shaded area within the school grounds.
