One of our noteworthy achievements includes a substantial contract completed for Morgan Sindall. Commissioned to undertake a £18.8 million refurbishment of Lexden Springs School in Colchester, Essex, Morgan Sindall entrusted us to supply and install 12 bespoke canopies, including two waterproof shade sails and a timber cycle shelter.

These structures not only unified the aesthetic of the renovated site but also provided convenient, covered access to various areas for pupils with special educational needs and their staff.

The design from the architects required the Coniston canopies to have sprinklers fitted (by another contractor) to the underside of the canopy roofs, we therefore provided structural calculations which included this modification for the loading capabilities. Despite the intricacies and challenges presented by the project, we demonstrated our commitment to excellence by completing the installations within the stipulated timelines and maintaining an exceptionally high standard of craftsmanship.

Our collaboration extends to reputable contractors such as Morgan Sindall, Kier, Wates Group, Willmott Dixon and more. Together, we have successfully installed both standard and bespoke canopy structures at numerous locations across the UK, further underscoring our dedication to delivering quality solutions.

Gravesend Bus Hub, Kent

Kent County Council were looking for several shade and shelter solutions to be included within the overall design package for a new bus hub project in Gravesend. They had seen one of our previous installations and were looking to incorporate something of a similar design into their project.

Bournemouth University

As part of a major infrastructure development, Bournemouth University created a new transport hub to connect the University to the wider area. permanent shelter for waiting passengers was part of the plan and they contacted us to help them achieve that by incorporating solar technology.

Hailsham Community College Primary Academy

Morgan Sindall required a number of canopies at Hailsham Community College Primary Academy which is a brand new two-storey, primary and nursery school for which they had been awarded the contract to build to form part of the Hailsham Community College Academy Trust.
