Head Office Expansion for Able Canopies – the canopy experts!

Here at Able Canopies we are continuously expanding to meet the needs of our growing customer base and our latest venture is the expansion of our Head Office in Clacton on Sea, Essex.

The opportunity to expand came about when the company occupying the adjacent unit decided to move premises. We jumped at the chance to take over the unit, increasing our warehouse capacity from 242sqm to 379sqm. This will allow us to stock additional raw materials which in turn will help us fulfil orders more efficiently.

We also took the opportunity to update our signage, adding two new signs to the side of the building making our location clearer for visitors. As well as Able Canopies, we have also added a new sign for our sister company – the Milwood Group.

Tracy Meakins, Operations Manager at Able Canopies added “I am looking forward to finishing the entire refurbishment off. The staff are also looking forward to their newly refurbished offices, which will be a better environment to work in. The warehouse now has an improved layout which is more efficient and helps the warehouse staff with processing orders.”

Taking on the adjacent unit also enabled us to install one of our latest innovative products – an Albedo Effect Solar Canopy, which is now generating electricity for us and reducing our overall energy costs. As a company we are committed to environmental awareness and hold ISO 14001 from the British Assessment Bureau.
