Grove Park Primary School required a shade structure in their school grounds for the pupils to gain shelter during break times.
The head teacher contacted Able Canopies and explained that they had a waterproof tensile fabric structure in mind. Able Canopies arranged for a site survey to be completed so that the surveyor could discuss the selection of waterproof fabric canopies we currently supply.
Once a survey had been completed, the head teacher at Grove Park Primary School was interested in two products: The Keswick Cantilever Umbrella which is a permanent waterproof tensile fabric umbrella. And The Edendale which is a permanent waterproof Shade Sail. Two quotes were sent to the school for the above products.
Grove Park’s head teacher was happy with the quotes and decided to go ahead with the Keswick Cantilever Umbrella as this product best suited their needs and was more cost-effective. They also decided to have the Lakeside Backless Bench installed under the umbrella providing the children with a sheltered seating area.
The Keswick Cantilever Umbrella is a waterproof tensile structure which is available in a choice of 40 colours to suit your surroundings. The frame and posts can be powder coated in any RAL colour. The Keswick is ideal for open spaces especially in outdoor learning and play environments and has the ability to span up to 5m.
The Lakeside Backless Bench is constructed from durable recycled plastic and is available in three timber shades with a wood grain finish. The bench is available in two different lengths and can be supplied with a back and character bench ends.
The installation was arranged and the school was happy with the product installed. The site manager explained that the product, installation and service received from Able Canopies were all excellent and they would recommend Able Canopies to other schools and organisations.
This Freestanding Fabric Tensile Structure was designed and manufactured by Able Canopies Ltd. and installed at Grove Park Primary School in London.
