Annabel’s Favourite Installations of All Time

As part of our 20^th Anniversary celebrations, we are asking all staff what their favourite projects are. Today, I sat down with Annabel who has been our Marketing Administrator for almost 2 years as she shared her favourite installations with me. Here’s what she had to say:

“With so many incredible projects completed, choosing a favourite is not easy. At Able Canopies, we offer a wide variety of designs, from the practical Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy to the striking Tensile Fabric Structures. Each serves a unique purpose, whether it’s providing shelter for animals, enhancing outdoor play areas, or supporting outdoor learning.

However, if I had to pick a standout project, it would be the Coniston Freestanding Canopy we installed at Thomas Walling Primary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, in August 2023.

This particular canopy is a favourite because of its Light Blue RAL 5012 colour, which creates a bright and welcoming space. Its curved design not only maximises coverage but also enhances the overall aesthetic of the school grounds

Beyond its appearance, this canopy has a meaningful impact by allowing children to learn and play outside in all weather conditions. It provides essential protection from harmful UV rays, heavy rain, and other elements, ensuring that outdoor activities can continue year-round.

The combination of functionality, durability, and visual appeal makes this project truly special. It’s a great example of how a well-designed canopy can transform an outdoor space, benefiting both students and staff.”
