Able Canopies Receives 100% on an Impromptu Health & Safety Audit
All staff at Able Canopies, particularly those who work on site, are very health and safety conscious and it is always ensured that all staff members who work on or visit the site are fully trained to work and deal with health and safety situations at all times.
Even though we always make sure we maintain a high standard of health and safety knowledge and training, it is always a pleasure to receive positive comments and glowing audits.
Whilst installing a Grange Mono-Pitch Free Standing Canopy at Rosetta Primary School in London, Newham Council conducted an unannounced HSE (Health & Safety) inspection and we passed with flying colours with no faults or problems found! We received 100% for all sections including:
- Project Information
- Contractor Details & Health & Safety Policy Information
- Asbestos
- Welfare
- Site Specific
- Working at Height (including Excavation)
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Tools/Plant & Equipment
- External Work
During the audit the inspectors were 100% satisfied that the site was adequately supervised, all operatives were found to be site qualified and trained to carry out the works and all our operatives had the correct qualifications for the work they were carrying out. These are important health and safety requirements that we make sure we adhere to on all installations.
