In July 2024, we supplied and installed a 4m x 4m Banbury Waterproof Shade Sail at Throstle Nest Children’s Home in Cranswick, East Yorkshire.

Throstle Nest Children’s Home sought a shade sail canopy to provide weather protection for an area in their garden, aiming to create a weather-protected space for outdoor activities and encourage children to spend more time outside. Throstle Nest Children’s Home was working with the contractor Hobson Porter, who reached out to us at Able Canopies for assistance.

We recommended the Banbury Waterproof Shade Sail, which offers comprehensive protection from all types of weather, particularly from the sun. This solution allows the children to participate in outdoor activities year-round, regardless of the weather conditions.
