Talbot Primary School – Coniston Freestanding Canopy

In February 2025, we supplied and installed a 12.5m x 3m Coniston Freestanding Canopy at Talbot Primary School in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Talbot Primary School aimed to provide robust weather protection for their designated bike and scooter storage area. Their objective was to create a sheltered space where students could securely store their bikes and scooters, protected from all types of weather conditions.

After carefully assessing their requirements, we recommended the installation of a Coniston Freestanding Canopy, engineered to maximise coverage. This addition shelters the outdoor area but also has optimised space usage, offering a durable and cost-effective solution tailored to the school’s needs.

    Able Canopies were commissioned by Bouygues (UK) Ltd to produce five bespoke canopies at Oaklands School in Tower Hamlets, London. These canopy installations were part of a major Building Schools for Future (BSF) project managed by Bouygues (UK) Ltd. to refurbish parts of the school and construct a new building at the site.
