Swanwick Hall School – Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy

In November 2023, we supplied and installed an 18m x 6m Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy with side infills at Swanwick Hall School in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

Swanwick Hall School approached us with a vision to transform a portion of its playground into a versatile, all-weather outdoor dining space. Their goal was to enable their students to be able to dine outside all throughout the year, and be shielded from the elements.

In response, we recommended the Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy. The Welford Dome is renowned for creating expansive, adaptable outdoor areas. It’s perfect for providing shelter while still allowing children to immerse themselves in the fresh air while dining, no matter the season. Also, by adding the side infills to the canopy gives an extra bit of protection from all kinds of weather.

Previously, we installed a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy with 5mm Side Fills at Swanwick Hall School.
