In February 2023, we supplied and installed two Coniston Freestanding Canopies at St Julian’s Primary School in Newport, South Wales.

St Julian’s Primary School collaborated with contractor, Newport Norse Ltd. to enhance their facilities, aiming to replace an outdated canopy and create additional outdoor spaces. The school’s vision was to renovate an area by installing a new canopy and adding another sheltered outdoor area outside one of their classrooms to serve as an external play area and outdoor classroom. Their goal was to provide students and staff with year-round protection from the elements during outdoor play and learning.

Having worked with us before, Newport Norse Ltd. approached us for a solution. We recommended the Coniston Freestanding Canopy for both areas, as it offers excellent weather protection. This canopy ensures that students and staff can comfortably access outdoor spaces in all seasons. By strategically connecting the canopy around the building in Area B, we expanded the sheltered areas, providing comprehensive coverage. Also, by replacing the old canopy with a new canopy in Area A, we met the school’s needs perfectly.
