In September 2024, we supplied and installed a 4.2m x 1.5m The Kensington Mono-Pitch Freestanding Canopy at the Royal Mail Delivery Office in Hinkley, Leicestershire.

Royal Mail opened a new delivery office in Leicestershire. The building was already existing and required modifications to optimise the space for their new needs. To address this, the architects, Watson Batty specified our Kensington Mono-Pitch Freestanding Canopy to create a new functional and weather-protected area.

The Kensington canopy range is particularly popular in commercial settings for its durable, robust frame and sleek roof panels with a glass-like appearance. For added customisation, it can also be covered with toughened glass. In this installation, we placed the canopy close to the building and added aluminium flashing at the rear to ensure a watertight seal, creating a reliable and protected space that meets Royal Mail’s specific requirements.

Clients were happy with the end result, and the canopy met the clients requirements.
