Parklands Primary School – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In January 2023, we supplied and installed a 3.7m x 3m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Parklands Primary School in Swansea, South Wales. This addition created a sheltered outdoor space where students could comfortably engage in outdoor learning and play, regardless of the weather conditions.

Later that month, we enhanced the canopy by adding roller shutters. These shutters provide an extra layer of functionality, transforming the open structure into a secure, lockable storage area during nights and school holidays. This feature not only adds security but also converts the canopy into an enclosed space that can be used as an outdoor classroom, offering the versatility to function as both a learning environment and a practical storage area.

With this dual-purpose design, Parklands Primary School now enjoys a weather-protected space that can be used year-round for various activities, making it a valuable addition to the school’s facilities. The combination of the canopy and roller shutters ensures that the school maximises the use of its outdoor space, whether for education, storage, or additional covered areas.
