Oak Wood School – Wall Mounted Canopy

In February 2023, we installed two Coniston Wall Mounted Canopies at Oak Wood School in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.  A 14.85m x 4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy, along with an 8m x 5m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy.

Oak Wood School, a returning client, reached out to us with a vision to enhance their school grounds. Their goal? To install two additional canopies, creating shade and shelter. This initiative is all about making outdoor learning and play accessible in any weather, for both students and teachers.

At Able Canopies, we recommended the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy system for this project. It’s an ideal choice for primary schools, known for its versatility and effectiveness in providing excellent shade and shelter. By placing these two canopies outside the classrooms, we are enabling Oak Wood School to offer outdoor lessons and playtime throughout the year, aligning with their requirements and aspirations for an adaptable learning environment.

We also installed a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy in Flame Red and a Anthracite Grey Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy to provide additional weather protection across different areas of the school along with two umbrellas.
