King Edward VI Lordswood Girls School – Coniston Freestanding Canopy

In August 2024, we supplied and installed three connecting Coniston canopies at King Edward VI Lordswood Girls School in Birmingham, West Midlands.

King Edward VI Lordswood Girls’ School approached Able Canopies with the goal of providing weather protection for its students and staff. The school sought to cover two areas to create an outdoor space where students could enjoy the outside but be protected from all weather conditions throughout the year.

To achieve this, we recommended installing three Coniston canopies, strategically connected to maximise coverage while efficiently utilising the available space. By positioning a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy back-to-back with a Coniston Freestanding Canopy, we created a large, unified shelter. This configuration not only offers extensive coverage but also serves as a cost-effective solution for the school. Additionally, by attaching another Coniston Freestanding Canopy to the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy.

This solution perfectly meets the needs of King Edward VI Lordswood Girls’ School, providing a spacious and practical outdoor area that can be used by students and staff in all weather conditions.
