Humberston Park Special School – Third Installation

In April 2023, we supplied and installed two Tarnhow Curved Freestanding Timber Canopy at Harrison Primary School in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. A 7.7m x 11.2m canopy and a 15.77m x 9m canopy.

During the initial survey, Humberston Park Special School expressed their interest in covering a total of six outdoor areas to provide students with sheltered spaces for various activities. In April 2023, we returned to the site to install two additional Tarnhow Curved Freestanding Canopies, continuing the project to create more covered areas across the school grounds.

The school needed versatile spaces where students could play, dine, or study outdoors while being protected from the unpredictable British weather. After evaluating their requirements, we recommended the Tarnhow Curved Freestanding Timber Canopy. This solution not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the outdoor environment but also maximises the use of previously underutilised spaces.

The Tarnhow canopy offers a spacious, comfortable, and weather-resistant area, ensuring that students can enjoy outdoor activities in all conditions. Its architectural design brings an attractive and functional feature to the school grounds, perfectly meeting Humberston Park Special School’s needs for a sheltered, adaptable outdoor space.
