Hayfield School – Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy

In July 2024, we supplied and installed two 12m x 6m Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy at Hayfield School in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Hayfield School aimed to improve their facilities by repurposing the indoor space previously used for lockers to accommodate additional classrooms and toilets. To free up this space, they needed a practical solution that would allow the lockers to be relocated outdoors while ensuring they remained accessible and protected from the elements.

The school contacted us at Able Canopies Ltd to help make this transition possible. The idea was to move the lockers outside, not only to create more room indoors but also to expand the locker area, allowing for the installation of additional units. To safeguard both the lockers and the students using them, we recommended the installation of two Welford Dome Freestanding Canopies. These canopies are ideal for creating expansive, adaptable outdoor spaces, providing excellent weather protection.

Additionally, the lockers are made from durable plastic, ensuring that the contents remain dry and secure, unlike traditional metal lockers which may rust or let in moisture. This made the Welford Dome canopies the perfect solution, offering the school a practical and long-lasting way to enhance their facilities.
