Furze Infant School – Second Canopy Installation

In August 2024, we supplied and installed a 20m x 4.5m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Furze Infant School in Romford, London.

Furze Infant School was in need of a new shelter to replace their aging canopy, which had been installed by another company. The existing structure was showing signs of wear and was no longer fit for purpose. The school wanted a new canopy that would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the classroom exterior but also allow pupils and staff to enjoy the outdoors year-round. To achieve this, they reached out to us at Able Canopies for a solution.

We recommended the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy due to its many advantages in a school setting and its similar design to the existing canopy. This canopy provides reliable protection from rain and snow, offers high UV protection for sunny days, and helps keep the building’s interior cool by shading the windows and reducing heat.
