In January 2025, we supplied and installed a 12m x 6m Coniston Freestanding Canopy at East Wickham Infant & Nursery School in Bexley, London.

East Wickham Infant & Nursery School sought to expand their existing weather protection canopy (not installed by us) to provide even greater outdoor coverage for students and staff. Their goal was to create a versatile, all-weather space, allowing outdoor activities to continue year-round, rain or shine. In search of a cost-effective and practical solution, they turned to us for assistance.

After assessing their requirements, we recommended the installation of a Coniston Freestanding Canopy, designed to maximise coverage while seamlessly complementing their existing structure. This addition not only expands their sheltered outdoor area but also optimises space usage, offering a durable and budget-friendly solution tailored to the school’s needs.

Able Canopies were commissioned by Bouygues (UK) Ltd to produce five bespoke canopies at Oaklands School in Tower Hamlets, London. These canopy installations were part of a major Building Schools for Future (BSF) project managed by Bouygues (UK) Ltd. to refurbish parts of the school and construct a new building at the site.
