The London Borough of Bromley’s Building Surveyer contacted us as a canopy was required for one of their Children’s Centres in Bromley, London. The customer required a canopy like the Coniston that offers high UV protection, yet that was free standing as it was to be installed adjacent to a building was not a suitable support for a canopy.
To meet the customers’ needs, we were able to install a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy by adding rear posts for additional support. We also added a step in the rear posts so that the posts could be installed into the ground in front of the existing drains to allow the water from the integral guttering to run down into the drains.
