Merrill College required a large sheltered outdoor dining area for their students and employed Vinci Facilities to source a school canopy supplier to supply and install a canopy that would create the large covered outdoor dining area required.
Vinci Facilities contacted Able Canopies on behalf of the college explaining the current situation and Able Canopies recommended the Welford Dome free standing canopy as the ideal solution due to the fact it is an exceptionally versatile modular canopy which can be constructed to easily cover large areas, such as the one needed for Merrill College.
A full site survey was carried out by an Able Canopies surveyor; however, the school was undecided whether to choose a waterproof tensile fabric structure or a polycarbonate free standing structure. Therefore, Able Canopies provided them with three quotations, one for a Codale Conic waterproof tensile fabric structure, and two quotes for different polycarbonate free standing structures: one for a Welford Dome free standing canopy and one for a bespoke free standing canopy.
inci Facilities and Merrill College were both impressed with the quotation for the Welford Dome free standing canopy and placed an order with Able Canopies for this structure. The Welford Dome is perfect of outdoor dining cover as it is covered with 5mm polycarbonate sheeting which benefits from excellent UV protection.
The Welford Dome was installed on time, with no problems and both Vinci Facilities and Merrill College was impressed with the service they received from Able Canopies.
