Waiting Shelters for all Commercial Settings

Waiting shelters are a practical addition to various environments, offering valuable weather protection. From schools and workplaces to retail settings and hospitals, these shelters create safe, comfortable spaces for people to wait and rest.

In schools, waiting shelters keep parents dry during pick-up times. For workplaces, they offer staff a space to take breaks, make phone calls, or wait for transport. Retail settings and hospitals benefit from sheltered waiting areas that enhance comfort for customers, patients, and staff. Even bus stops and transport hubs see improvements in user experience with the installation of waiting shelters.

The Welford Dome: A Canopy for All

Choosing the right canopy for your outdoor space depends on its intended use. While many of our canopies can be adapted for various applications, certain types are better suited for specific needs, whether it’s wall-mounted for seamless weather protection or freestanding for covering open areas.

The Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy stands out as a versatile option, perfect for creating large, weather-protected spaces away from buildings. Its impressive span and customisable design make it ideal for outdoor dining areas at schools and colleges, helping to reduce indoor congestion and enhance outdoor facilities. Plus, the Welford Dome’s frame can be powder-coated in any standard RAL colour for a personalised touch.

Royal Liverpool University Hospital Case Study

The Royal Liverpool University Hospital recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art facility, featuring 641 en-suite rooms and extensive emergency and medical units. During the project, Saxon Contracting enlisted us to provide two Kensington Junior Wall Mounted Entrance Canopies with safety glass for added protection.

Despite challenges like securing the canopies to concrete walls without internal support, our team completed the installation in two phases, ensuring safe, reliable weather protection for staff and patients. These canopies now enhance safety by reducing slip hazards and keeping users dry.
