In November 2024, we supplied and installed two connecting Coniston Freestanding Canopies at City of Derby Academy in Derby, Derbyshire.
City of Derby Academy approached Able Canopies to create a weather-protected outdoor space for students and staff. The goal was to design a versatile area where students could enjoy the outdoors while staying sheltered from rain, wind, and sun year-round.
We recommended installing two Coniston canopies, strategically connected to provide maximum coverage and efficient use of space. This design included two Coniston Freestanding Canopy, creating a substantial sheltered area that offers extensive protection while remaining a cost-effective solution for the school.
This canopy meets City of Derby Academy’s needs perfectly, delivering a spacious, practical outdoor area for all-weather use by students and staff.
