Atkinson Road Primary Academy – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In October 2024, we supplied and installed a 10m x 5m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Atkinson Road Primary Academy in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.

Atkinson Road Primary Academy was undergoing renovation to improve their facilities. One way they wanted to improve their facilities was to create an outdoor space that could be used year-round, providing students and staff with the ability to enjoy outdoor learning and activities in all weather conditions. To achieve this, they approached us for a solution that would maximise their outdoor space.

After carefully evaluating their needs, we recommended the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy. This canopy offers excellent protection from the elements, ensuring the outdoor area remains usable in any season. Its installation has not only shielded the space from rain, wind, and sun but has also transformed it into a versatile and functional area.

The addition of the canopy has significantly improved the school’s capacity for outdoor learning. It allows students to participate in a wide range of educational activities in a comfortable, weather-protected environment. Whether for lessons, playtime, or special events, the canopy has become a vital part of the school’s mission to offer a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
