Parsloes Primary School – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In August 2024, we supplied and installed a 20.5m x 4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Parsloes Primary School in Dagenham, Essex.

The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Council embarked on a project at Parsloes Primary School, which aimed to enhance the playground area. The school sought a solution that would allow pupils and staff to spend more time outdoors year-round, both during break times and lessons. They needed a shelter that would cover a large area outside the school building, providing protection from the weather so that more students could safely enjoy the outdoors in various conditions.

To fulfil their requirements, we installed a 20.5m x 4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy. This versatile canopy offers numerous advantages in a school setting, such as protecting students and staff from rain and snow, providing high UV protection to create a shaded area, and even helping to keep the building’s interior cool by shading windows and minimising heat buildup on sunny days.

The council was highly satisfied with the service provided, and the installation successfully met the school’s needs. The result was a functional and weatherproof outdoor space that Parsloes Primary School can now use throughout the year.
