White Bridge Primary School – Coniston Freestanding Canopy

White Bridge Primary School reached out to us with the aim of creating a sheltered outdoor area outside their classrooms as an external play area but also an external classroom. Their goal was to provide students and staff with year-round protection from the elements while playing and learning outside.

We recommended the Coniston Freestanding Canopy as the ideal solution. This canopy offers a weather-protected, sheltered space, ensuring comfortable access to the outdoors for students and staff, regardless of the season. By extending the canopy around the building with a hip addition, we were able to increase the sheltered areas, providing comprehensive protection from various weather conditions and perfectly meeting the school’s requirements.

In June 2024, we supplied and installed a 7.8m x 2m Hip into 2.5m x 2m Coniston Freestanding Canopy at White Bridge Primary School in Loughton, Essex. We then carried out the groundworks for the school, which included a New Tarmac Pathway, the installation of a Timber Picket Fence and the installation of Artificial Grass underneath the new canopy.
