Hawkley Hall High School required a canopy in their school grounds in Wigan, Greater Manchester. The appearance of the canopy was an important factor to them as they wanted a timber structure that would complement the surrounding buildings and outside environment.
They also wanted a canopy that would provide effective cover from the weather including sun, rain, wind and snow so they could use their outside space for various activities throughout the year.
We supplied and installed a Tarnhow Dome Free Standing Timber Canopy, this is a striking canopy structure that is very popular within secondary schools due to its natural and robust appearance. It also offers the protection required from the elements so the students can now enjoy the outside, keeping dry even when it’s raining!
